Also picked up a random girl and went to a Blazers - Clippers game at the Staples Center. Ok this isn't a random girl, it's my girlfriend (of over a year) Katie. Katie, Bloggers, Bloggers, Katie. Glad we got that out of the way. The Blazers lost, but I got what I paid for (about seven bang-outs by DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin). On to the Rose Bowl...
Literally, this is us en route to the Rose Bowl...
And we made it. And our seats were two rows up on the 50-yard line. How'd I get these seats? I', a very important corporate donor...not really, but my friend apparently has an uncle who works with a guy, who's golfing buddies with somebody important or something.
These seats were so good I actually got my mug on ESPN's broadcast for half a second. That's me on the right of the logo. Oh and the game was pretty good too. I don't need to recap the whole thing, so I'll just bask in the glory of being Rose Bowl Champs (See Below)Basking!
PS: Thank you to everyone who participated in my Card Draft that helped fund this adventure. Doing the Draft was the best way that I could raise some extra money and hopefully I added to some bloggers collections in the process.

That's awesome that you got to go and those seats are insane.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun. The tailgate at the Rose Bowl is always great. Go Pac-12 except for SC of course.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great time! I definitely need to attend a bowl game sometime. Looks like great fun.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics...great seats....great fun. Glad you're still around, but I can see you've got good reason to be pre-occupied. And you even made it on ESPN!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a blast! Glad it all worked out!
ReplyDeleteYes, also the Braun situation has put a bit of my collecting on hold. I would like to aggressively attack my Kimball set though. If anyone has some for trade shoot me an email at:
